After a long season of livestream-only worship, we are delighted to open our Sanctuary doors once again. As the COVID-19 pandemic goes on, we will continue to emphasize our call to care for the most vulnerable among us. Our livestream worship services are here to stay, as well.
You are invited to join in worship in the Sanctuary at 10:30am each Sunday. Our Sanctuary is not air-conditioned, so please dress comfortably. We will be leaving open the windows and doors to facilitate ventilation.
All worshippers are asked to wear masks, regardless of vaccination status. We will sing and pray together aloud, but only the worship leaders will remove their masks during the service.
Worshippers will be invited to sit in designated areas around the Sanctuary, to enable social distancing. We hope to feel the warm embrace of the Spirit, and of the community, but we do not encourage hugs and handshakes at this time.
We welcome your gifts and offerings, but we will not be "passing the plate." An on-site offering box will be available -- but we encourage everyone to make offerings online.
Children are most welcome in worship. At this time, childcare will not be provided. We hope to resume Sunday School in September, at 9:30am, and to be increasingly inclusive of our children in worship leadership, and even in running some of the livestream technology. We will be adding-in other opportunities in support of children and families along the way.
Please sign-in. Out of an abundance of caution, we will ask everyone who joins us in worship to sign-in, and to provide a means of contact. In the event of a COVID-19 diagnosis from within the community, we'll want to encourage everyone to be tested.
We encourage everyone to become vaccinated. Vaccination is one of the many ways we can care for ourselves, and for our neighbors, during this unusual time.
