Sing, Pray, Play, Think, Splash, Eat, Go -- that's Worship.

Join us for worship at 10:30am each Sunday, where we offer our thanks, praise, and prayers to God, and open our hearts and minds to the power of the Spirit to transform ourselves and our community. However you are comfortable, come as you are. Join us in the Sanctuary, or through our Live Stream. Walls can't keep us apart.

Our Sunday morning worship service centers around Scripture. We sing songs that resonate with the themes of the day -- sometimes old classic hymns, sometimes newly written pieces, but always with a Broadway twist. We wonder at the ways that ancient words can still speak such vital truths -- forever calling us to be people of justice, kindness, and humility (Micah 6:8). Though we aren’t shy about tackling challenging subjects, we always remember not to take ourselves too seriously. We leave room for laughter – and we know that sometimes mistakes happen. (The Good News isn’t that we are supposed to be perfect, after all – the Good News is that we are loved, just as we are.)

As siblings in Christ, we take time in each week’s service to pray for one another. The Prayers of the People is an opportunity to lift up joys and concerns, hurts, hopes, and dreams. You can share your prayers at prayer@bpcnyc.org.

On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate the joyful Feast of God’s Grace – gathering around the Communion Table. We believe that it is the living Christ who invites us to the Table, and we trust that his invitation is for all people. With that in mind, anyone and everyone is welcome to share in the Bread and the Cup.

Baptism, for children and adults, also happens on Sunday mornings. This is a joyful time to remember that we belong to God – the Water and the Spirit binds us to God and to each other. If you are interested in being baptized, or in celebrating the baptism of a child, contact the pastor.
