Youth Engaging in Service!

A Collaboration of Broadway Presbyterian Church and Broadway Community

At YES, we work with Middle and High School Youth Groups from all over the country. Our program provides a unique and in-depth opportunity for service learning. Students will encounter the realities of poverty in our neighborhood, but will also be given tools to think about poverty and its impact upon their own communities.

Students will volunteer at Broadway Community's Four-Star Soup Kitchen, and may also support our shelter, clothing distribution, and food pantry programs, depending on the schedule. In addition, we connect groups with other service partners in New York City. We love building connections.

Alongside service programs, we also provide opportunities to foster relationships with our guests, to break down barriers, to think theologically, and to gather in worship and song.

Youth Groups sleep in our air-conditioned Parish Hall. We have twenty air mattresses too.

YES! Logistics

$70 per person, per day

Your fee provides most of your meals, programming, creative worship, and reflection. We'll do our best to help you set up additional NYC experiences, as well, depending on the needs and wishes of your group.

We have showers on site, too -- which everyone appreciates after a busy week!

This program runs year-round, not only for the summer.

Bring your youth group for a few days, a week, or a weekend!
