There is life outside your apartment...

or your dorm room!

LaMP stands for Lutherans, Methodists and Presbyterians - and friends! We are a progressive, LGBTQIA-inclusive Christian community of college and grad students in Manhattan's Morningside Heights neighborhood. We are working to build community that celebrates diversity of all kinds and provides a space in which we can explore our faith and relate it to the world in which we live. Whatever your faith background - or lack thereof - you are welcome here!

All students are welcome to join us for:

  • Upper Room - our weekly community dinner with good conversation, prayer, and Communion (Mondays at 7:30pm during the academic year)
  • Midnight Pancakes Study Breaks during finals season
  • Pub Theology
  • Service and volunteering
  • Retreats and social outings
  • And more!

Visit the LaMP website to learn more! (Take a look at the video below, too!)

LaMP is a joint ministry of Broadway Presbyterian Church, Advent Lutheran Church and St. Paul and St. Andrew United Methodist Church and The Vine NYC.

LAMP - The Movie.

LAMP is a partnership with our Lutheran and Methodist neighbors.  Our friends at the Lutheran Ministries in Higher Education produced a four-minute film about campus ministry in NYC -- and you'll get a glimpse of LAMP along the way.
